The Almanack of Don Hilario (that’s me!) is my playbook guide to wealth, freedom, and mastery built on first-principles thinking, antifragility, and strategic execution.

Structured in a blog series are the following:

Post 1. The Why (Introductory Post) Why I started my Almanack as a personal wealth and life strategy manual designed for long-term mastery.

Post 2. The Core Framework: STEADFAST Thinking. My decision-making model integrating Stoicism, economics, incentives, compounding, wealth and happiness. How Scarcity, Trade-offs, Effective leverage, Autonomy, and Discipline shape every financial and life decision I make.

Post 3. The Antifragile Approach to Wealt. Why traditional financial planning falls short and how antifragility (embracing volatility) creates long-term advantage.

The Five-Year Rule and Accumulator Strategy as a foundation for real wealth-building.

Post 4. Leverage and Decision-Making. How to multiply effort and results using asymmetry, compounding, and AI. Why time, energy, and capital must be allocated based on high-impact leverage.

Post 5. The Real Meaning of Freedom. Wealth isn‘t just about money it’s about control over your time, decisions, and energy.

Why traditional success metrics don‘T align with real freedom.

Post 6. Lessons from My Favorite Authors. How Nassim Taleb, Thomas Sowell, Naval Ravikant, and Marcus Aurelius shaped my philosophy.

How I apply their insights to investing, business, and life.

Post 7. The Scarcity Mindset vs. The Abundance Game. The hidden cost of poor decision-making and how scarcity awareness leads to better compounding choices.

The LACEDFCCVC framework for maintaining control over wealth, health, and autonomy.

Post 8. AI, the Future of Wealth, and Staying Ahead. How AI is changing financial advice, investing, and decision-making.

Why you must position yourself ahead of the curve rather than react to change.

Post 9. Execution Over Information. Why most people collect knowledge but don’t apply it. The Execution Rule- how I filter what‘s useful and put ideas into action.

Post 10. Final Thoughts & Next Steps. How my almanack will evolve. The next areas I‘m exploring in wealth-building, personal mastery, and antifragility.
